Kitchen Rental Space Requirements
Renter must be able to furnish answers to questions such as:
- How long is the rental for?
- How many people or personnel will use the rented kitchen space?
- What type of food items will be prepared?
- What kinds of equipment will be needed?
Requirements:
- Documentary evidence of Commercial Liability Insurance - listing Effie's Place as beneficiary/certificate holder
- Refundable deposit of $400 for single use, and $880.00 for multiple uses
- Non-Refundable deposit of $50.00 as administrative charges
- Present a copy of current food handling certificate
- Must use premises for a minimum of 4 hours per day
- Premises are closed on Sundays
- Where the rental is for one raw kitchen space, a maximum of 4 people only including the renter will be permitted on the premises to use the facility.
Price Quotes:
- $45.00 per hour (1 raw kitchen rental space) - one stove, one convection oven, and one kettle
- $150 per hour (a whole kitchen rental space) plus $15.00 per hour supervisory fee
This plan does not include the use of industrial ovens and mixers
- Cold room storage (refrigeration) is $10.00 per day per shelf or speed rack.
- Large volume storage may attract a flat rate of $50.00 per day.
